Our New Head Mark is now Departing from Tsurugi Station!
We have renewed our geopark-themed head mark on the Hokuriku Railroad Ishikawa Line train. It starts running from today, the 31st of March 2022. This year we themed the head mark on the Tedori Canyon Road, focusing especially on the Cherry Blossom Road which is along the route.
The Tedori Canyon Road is a designated cycling path that utilizes the decommissioned railroad of the former Kinmei Line. You can carry bikes onto the train to Tsurugi Station from Nomachi Station from March 16 to November 30 (excluding rainy days). Furthermore, bicycles can be rented from the Hakusan City Tourism League next to Tsurugi Station. Riding through the historical town of Tsurugi, along the Tedori Canyon Road, all the way to the Roadside Station Sena makes for a relaxing and enjoyable day.
